Built on Audi’s new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture, the variant is made in and specifically for the Chinese market and is said to offer longer distance cruising than the regular Q6 e-tron, while also offering the tradition ‘L’ longer wheelbase (+105mm).
Measuring 4884mm in length, 1965mm in width, 1687mm in height, and with a wheelbase of 2955mm, the Q6L e-tron offers more rear-seat legroom, and space for a larger battery pack enabling a range of up to 700km (+76km versus Q6 e-tron).
The Audi Q6L e-tron features a 12-module lithium-ion battery pack with a total capacity of 107kWh, or 7kWh more than the standard Q6 e-tron. The 800-volt pack has a maximum (DC) charging capacity of 270kW and can provide up to 260km of range in as little as 10 minutes when recharged at an appropriate fast charger.
Audi will offer customers both rear- and all-wheel drive (quattro) versions of the Q6L e-tron with outputs of 250kW and 340kW respectively.
With an updated design the Q6L e-tron sports a broader front end with high gloss black elements, an illuminated Audi logo, and active LED headlights. OLED tail-lights adorn the rear. The model rides on 21-inch aerodynamically optimised alloy wheels and offers a colour palette with refreshed with paint options, include Lilac Grey (pictured).
The door handles of the Audi Q6L e-tron are integrated into the window line with a proximity sensor unlocking the vehicle upon approach.
