Geely Radar RD6 Electric Pickup Truck
Geely, a Chinese automotive giant, has developed the Geely Radar RD6, an electric pickup truck aimed at both domestic and international markets.
Platform & Powertrain:
- The Radar RD6 is built on Greely’s SEA platform (Sustainable Experience Architecture), which is an electric vehicle platform designed for a wide range of electric cars and trucks.
- The platform supports battery-electric powertrains and provides a flexible architecture to accommodate various vehicle sizes and designs.
- The Radar RD6 offers rear-wheel drive (RWD) as well as all-wheel drive (AWD) options, depending on the configuration.
Battery & Range:
- The RD6 is equipped with a large battery pack that provides an estimated range of around 500 kilometers (311 miles) on a full charge, based on the Chinese CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) standard. However, range could vary depending on the market and testing standards (e.g., WLTP or EPA range for other countries).
- The battery is designed for fast charging, allowing the truck to charge from 30% to 80% in about 30 minutes using DC fast charging.
